I've been going here for over 20 years and always enjoy it! It's not wood fired but there's that pizza at other places. The place was clean and tastefully decorated, the service very helpful and friendly. Vegetarian lasagne was just mushy veggies with a red sauce no cheese at all. We tried out Giannelli's last night and I really enjoyed it it reminds me of the little Italian restaurant you always went to as a kid. They did not skimp on the toppings and their cheese was gooey and melty just like a pizza should be! We did not argue though we just wanted to ask if that's how they prepare their food and if it is suppose to be like that and she stated that it is indeed suppose to be like that.
Amazing thin crust that still has a nice crunch to it instead of a soggy mess. Management should get all that worked out with time. We both had a Margarita to start yup! All I have to say is. Very inviting atmosphere and good service. We like artichokes on our pizza and have not been able to find a place around here that has them, until tonight! I would highly recommend the guacamole made fresh at your table! Some Peruvian dishes, some Mexican. My father-in-law loved the homemade vegetable beef soup. I've just read some of the other reviews and it appears they have had similar experiences with slow service.
× Intelius is a leading provider of public data about people and their connections to others. Haven't had a pizza like it since. I would love to see one open up in Medford, but it is well worth the drive to Grants Pass! The corn tortillas were super delicious, as was the rest of the food. This is my favorite Latin restaurant by far, bar none! We ordered the spaghetti and a stromboli. Rigatoni had crumbled sausage with grease all on the bottom of the plate dripping off your fork. Intelius does not provide consumer reports and is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the. I definitely reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a great Italian restaurant.
We'll be back Rogue River float coming up this summer. The staff is awesome here. It exists as a compendium of supporting information intended for informational purposes only. It's a small menu selection of food, beer and wine. The four of us ordered three meals to share family style. The cheese and sausage was delicious.
Guacamole was yummy as well as their special steak dish. Guacamole's made at your table and what a kick it has! You get balsamic and oil to start. Proper cheese all the way to the crust. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. First the Caesar salad was not the best, the romaine lettuce was soggy with way to much dressing but my wife's salad was crispy with just enough dressing again, my fault for not asking for my salad to be remade. Excellent cold sandwich and I look forward to returning for a hot dish when I have more time.
It's not your local Mexican restaurant although you'll find some familiar favorites, but you will find Peruvian delights with a surf and turf, seafood chili relleno, filet mignonette and, we'll just check it out online. Was taking a trip down to Medford and this place caught my eye. Giannelli's is a small place with about 10-12 tables which is cool, the staff are very friendly and the owner Sheri is friendly and outgoing. We had Steak Boliviano, Seco de Pollo Peruvian stew , the Gypsy Plate, and Flan for dessert. I will 100% be calling in orders.
For those who want a leisurely dining experience, and are in no rush, the food is decent. I promise you won't be disappointed. Great experience and awesome food! Came here with a large party pretty late at night. We felt like we were guests in her home. That is a pet peeve of mine, especially when there are antsy kids involved. This place is Peruvian so the food is a little different - but in a great way. It was our 2nd night staying at the Redwood Suites, Giannelli's was within walking distance from the hotel, so my boyfriend went and picked up a pizza for us.
We would definitely order from here again. The only way I can describe it is that it's unlike anything else in southern Oregon. The owner Sheri takes time to talk to as may customers as she can like old friends which is awesome, the restaurant is not full of Italian pictures or vases and olive vines, just a home town local's place to eat a good Italian meal. It was similar to fajitas but also included potatoes and other veges. They have a limited wine selection along with bottled beer and soft drinks. Otherwise it's an unassuming cute small business right off the main strip. I liked the green beans because they had a nice crunch to them but I would have liked a few more.
