In the my sassy girl they took all of the touching moments and made it into jokes. If you haven't, then you can probably watch this first, and then move on to the Korean version. The film might have been good if I haven't seen the original in the first place. Please watch the original version! I understand that film adaptations can change plot details but it must replace them with something. This movie was the same as the other but the acting was horrible , like when the girl was drunk it looked very fake and the romance was terrible when she fell in love with the guy it looked like she really didn't mean it the Korean verison felt like it was actually real love. I had to struggle to finish this film.

If you're going to watch both versions, make sure yousee this one first before the original. Im a big fan of the original Korean version. It was worse than watching the movie version of my favorite book. Also the delivery of the lines and portrayal of the characters has a different impact when said and portrayed by Asians compared to Americans if the humor is intended to be portrayed by Asians for the Asian culture.
Where the girl in the original was fearless, relentless, and mysterious, the adaptation's girl was with restraints and ultimately boring. Also, the subtle changes to the Piano recital made it even worse. Look at what ishuge in other countries and ripping it off. However, if we pretend that it wasn't a remake, it would still be nothing new. Charlie comes across as whinybut remains tolerable because Bradford manages to make some of himlikable. Then I decided I should watch the American remake. The characters were very unlikeable, from the bland and boring Charlie to the Jordan that belongs in a padded room.
Even though sets were lifted directly from the original, I don't even care to call it an adaptation, because neither of the main characters survived the rewrite; the entire essence is different. Why does Hollywood have to ruin all that is good? Cuthbert and Bradford both fail to recreate the integralchemistry of the characters from the original version. I find that the American version lacks the charisma of the 2 main characters, and feels very rushed. This version will just act as aspoiler. The girl was just a sassy beautiful girl.
. Though the ending was okay, but the rest of it all was just pathetic. It describes the meeting of Kyun-woo Cha and an unnamed girl. I think this lady can bring so much more out of her talent. A story about an unlikely couple experiencing trials and tribulations en route to some sort of resolution is not a novel approach to romance.
In the meantime, her boy, the boy, was confused. The hackneyed plot reallylacks soul. The remake, however, gave us a geek who has a glorious future b4 he metthe girl. The American remake appends a tragedy onto the end but it does very little to actually justify the character's behavior. My sassy girl is a remake of the Korean movie of the same name. The best thing in original Korean movie was the behavior and mood of the girl and her perfect acting and also actor's acting and his mood. Too much acting buttrue feelings. One is awkwardly aware throughoutthe film that Cuthbert is trying to mimic a character rather thanbecoming the character herself. All the people I know who have watched the original movie was just amazed by it. However, if you compare it to the original one, the pace is much faster and the settings are very different.

The friend character in this American version is annoyingand one of the many Hollywood clichés including the Hollywood ending. I'm not sure which is a worse western remake of an Asian movie: My Sassy Girl or One Missed Call. It might have been very difficult for them to work to meet the expectations of the fans of the original version. It just made me sick that such an awful remake could be made. Even the mediocre Indian remake at least grasped the point of the original story and made it interesting. Himself, was alazy, yet naive boy. They at least deserve a praise since they have tried their best to portray the characters from the original.
